Created SmartCharge® 2.0, a customer facing billing system, in use at over 300 of customer sites in North America, Great Britain, and Europe. First launched in January 2003, as of January 2009 the program processes over $2.5 million monthly. The application allows DHL customers to immediately calculate mailing costs, distribute mail costs among internal departments or external customers. The software integrates directly with internal mail processing and accounting systems. DHL GlobalMail's SmartCharge® page can be viewed at SmartCharge Page While meeting DHL GlobalMail's demanding requirements for the software itself, our team designed SmartCharge® 2.0 with Enterprise Integration in mind. As a result, DHL was ready to work in a more connected way with their customers. With SmartCharge, not only can they automate or eliminate data entry, they can also share cost reporting throughout their enterprise, or customer base. For example one customer has overridden the send mail event. Their customization extracts the mail data, prepares a proprietary mainframe file using XSLT, and sends the file via FTP the results to their mainframe. The events can access any web service, windows API, database or COM object in the enterprise. This feature allows DHL GlobalMail to provide valuable data integration to their customers, while at the same time keeping maintenance and testing costs low with a single version of the software. SmartCharge® 2.0 provides DHL GlobalMail operations notifications of pickups. This is new feature eliminates the need for customers to call for pickup, and allows operations to stay in touch with customers needs. The SmartCharge® 2.0 architecture is based upon HTML Applications (HTA), which allows Internet Explorer to store data locally, and access electronic scales through the serial ports. By using HTA, SmartCharge can run with or without an internet connection. All application data is stored in XML files, and is presented to users with DHTML and XSLT. The application is automatically updated with ActiveUser™ technology, Walseth Consulting Group, Inc. proprietary software distribution mechanism. ActiveUser™ makes the management of remote software installations as easy to manage as web-based applications. - Global Mail Exchange
Designed and Created the Global Mail Exchange (GMX). GMX is a Business to Business (B2B) exchange that allows Global Mail's vendors and customers to interact with Global Mail’s systems via XML based Services. It allows Global Mail to place orders with vendors, and allows vendors to provide real-time status of their operations. GMX, developed using Microsoft’s .NET framework, is a full-featured integration broker. It features an XML based message cache that guarantees message delivery, or re-routing. It allows DHL GlobalMail to loosely couple their B2B connectivity. For example, today a transaction may go to one application, but in the future the same data may be sent to several different applications. GMX provides a consistent interface to partners, yet provides DHL GlobalMail the opportunity to re-purpose transactional data. Developed for Amazon, and extended using a generic SOAP based interface. This service allows DHL GlobalMail's customers to quickly retrieve tracking information using an XML or SOAP based format.

- IdentiChek™ a web based application that assembles XML based background investigation services provided by several data vendors into a single unified report. IdentiChek assembles data from credit reporting and criminal background reporting agencies. IdentiChek™ reports include Previous Addresses, Criminal Background, Properties Owned, Bankruptcies and Court Liens. Data is delivered in real time.

- TerrorChek™
- Developed TerrorChek™, a web based application and SOAP based Web Service that scans over 50 external web sites and databases for known and suspected terrorists.
- TerrorChek™ implements a proprietary phonetic searching algorithm, to ensure that minor spelling variations of westernized names are not missed in the matching.
- DeepWeb™
- DeepWeb is a "spider" program that crawls third party web sites for further information about and individual. It scans dozens of web sites for customers, eliminating the need to manually scan the site by hand.
- Implemented a special .NET based method of converting HTML to XML. This approach greatly simplifies "web-scraping", or the automation of web searching and parsing results.
- .NET based threading allows searches to be completed simultaneously. As a result, searches that would take over 3 minutes are completed in under 30 seconds.

RepoLift is a leading wholesaler of used forklift equipment, with warehouses across North America. As a thriving business, RepoLift required a full suite of Customer Resource Management software. Microsoft Dynamics CRM provided the required framework for this CRM system. While Microsoft Dynamics CRM is a robust product, it does not have the capability to meet all of RepoLift's requirements for integration with other systems. By partnering with WCG:ITX, RepoLift was able to leverage the knowledge and experience required to quickly and painlessly integrate with various other existing systems and technologies. Web2Lead WCG:ITX provided custom software to RepoLift to import inquiries from their Web Site and turn them into leads in Microsoft CRM. PDF Invoices Microsoft Dynamics CRM Invoice objects were exported to custom PDF documents, and and emailed to customers. QuickBooks Invoice data is automatically imported into QuickBooks |

Freddie Mac engaged WCG personnel for developing and integrating partners their XML based BB2 exchange, Loan Prospector TurnKey (LP TurnKey). The LP TurnKey exchange accepts mortgage applications from Lending Tree, and Microsoft's Home Advisor. Upon receipt of these applications, Freddie Mac would run the application through their underwriting and pricing engine. Finally, the loan would be routed to a processing agent. Each step of this exchange was performed using XML based transactions. The secure LP TurnKey Exchange was quite difficult for partners to participate in. The on-boarding process, the time it took for partners to participate in the exchange, typically lasted 60 - 90 days. - Walseth Consulting Group, Inc. developed OptNet, a software package that reduced partner on-boarding from months to days. OptNet was developed using freely available Microsoft Technology (MSXML, Internet Information Server, Windows Scripting Host), which made it easy for partners to implement.
